Hardi Jain · AI and SaaS product manager · Chartered Accountant
I started in audit, where the job was to find what didn’t add up.
I’m a Chartered Accountant who became a product manager. Before PayU, I spent years at PwC, KPMG and JPMorgan Chase checking whether numbers held up and whether the systems behind them could be trusted.
In audit, I took a reconciliation routine that people repeated by hand and turned it into a reusable system. It ran across 50 client engagements and more than 150 auditors, and audit cycle time dropped 40 to 50%.
That habit stayed. At PayU, a 5-point drop in checkout success rate looked like a checkout problem. It turned out to be bot traffic distorting the funnel. I like that kind of work: finding out what a number is really measuring before anyone acts on it.
I also build on my own. Pantry Vault is a pantry and recipe app for vegetarian cooking. Med-Voice turns a photo of a prescription label into spoken instructions in 11 languages, for older people who can’t read the label. I built it without writing code by hand. Both are on this site under What I’m building.
I’m looking for a product role at an AI or SaaS company. I’m based in Mumbai and open to roles in India or abroad, on site, remote, or with relocation.
At PayU I managed Payment Links, Web Checkout and the SDK.
